Justin Tyler Stauffer, 19, was arrested after investigators discovered he recorded multiple illicit videos of at least twelve victims without their knowledge or consent at Fashion Cents Consignment, 240 N Reading Rd, according to the Ephrata Police Department.
Stauffer used a cellphone to record inside the store’s changing area, police said. A forensic examination of the device determined there were no additional illicit videos beyond those tied to the case, police said.
Stauffer was charged with:
- One felony count of Interception of Oral Communications
- Twelve felony counts of Criminal Use of a Communication Facility
- One misdemeanor count of Possessing Instruments of Crime
- Twelve misdemeanor counts of Invasion of Privacy
He was arraigned before Magisterial District Judge Landis and released on $10,000 unsecured bail, court records show.
Stauffer is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
